Weekend a Boston

Boston was not that cold after all. The MIT looks like any other Engineering school I’ve visited in my life. The HBS looks like a country club, very nice.

I went on a short trip to the East Coast over the weekend, to participate in the annual conference of the Italian MBA Association. I had an opportunity to meet with current students from several business schools in the US.

I met many, but nobody told me:
"I would like to go back to Italy"

Not a single one.

We often discuss of brain drain in scientific fields. No doubt, that is a real problem. But what about business brains? Doesn't a country need that type of profile to run efficiently and effectively?

As Italians, do we need to worry for the future of our country? Why those who get out of it don't want to go back?
